All councillors are volunteers and are not  paid for the time they  spend on Council business. You can e-mail any of the Councillors by clicking on the the E-mail link on the left and it will be forwarded to the Councillor concerned.
The Council meets a minimum of four times a year at 7.00pm in Darrington Reading Rooms. the meetings are scheduled to last two hours.
Members of the public are welcome to come along to the meetings, but by law they are not permitted to speak in the meeting. The Council have decided to set aside 15 minutes before the Council meeting has started so members of the public can raise any points they would like to bring to the Councils attention. We welcome members of the public and want to encourage more residents to attend the meetings.
