Advertisement The Spread Eagle Pub holds a QUIZ NIGHT on Mondays beginning at 9.00 pm.  It is only 50p per person and teams of 4 players or less are welcome. The winners receive 8 pints of beer or equivalent.  There are 40 questions and sandwiches are provided at half time. The quiz is usually over by about 10.15 pm.  It would be lovely to see some more villagers taking part.  It is played for fun, no genius's need attend.  Come along for a good night out. Cath Britton

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
The Parish Council is trying to increase the number of Neighbourhood watch co-ordinators in the Village. Neighbourhood watch is one of the best ways to make the Village more secure. The ideal situation would be to have a co-ordinator on every street. All you would have to do is forward messages to your neighbours perhaps once a week. To volunteer contact any councillor or e-mail darrington.pc@tiscali.co.uk
